Thanks for the heads up. It wasn't stocked by gameslore at the time of the review. I actually sent them a copy of the review and asked them if they would want to get some decks in. Either they were already planning to our acted on it I'm not sure. I'll update the review later.

I've just looked again and they are actually new items just this week for them as shown under new releases for 24th November. I'm not bothered about the extra I paid as much as the lack of proper packaging with mine.

Fingers crossed they'll eventually stock more theme decks.

Funemployed

This looks fun, along the same lines of Snake Oil and a little like Cards Against Humanity.

Did anyone else here back Escape - Zombie City, and if so has it arrived yet? It seems that people here in the UK received theirs around a fortnight ago now but I'm still waiting. I have left several comments on the Kickstarter page and messaged Queen Games directly but they haven't bothered to respond. I'm left thinking that I've lost $77 and that I'm best staying away from Kickstarter from now on.

Hi Steve - I didn't back that one, but Queen Games are usually pretty good if you email them directly - b.haasbach@queen-games.de

Worth a shot I think.

Indeed, I will try that. Thanks.

Being rational for a bit, I'm sure it will turn up. It is probably a *very* staggered dispatch process and I've just been unlucky and been placed near the end of the queue. I'm very disappointed that Queen haven't responded to any of the private messages I've already sent via the Kickstarter page though. A little worrying if it turns out it really has gone missing or something. Hopefully I'll have more success via that email address.

On to more positive news (assuming this one turns up!) and I've had an email to say that all copies of 27th Passenger: A Hunt on Rails have been sent out and should arrive no later than the 12th of December.

Sadly the only way some people have managed to get a response from Queen Games is to wait until they have a new Kickstarter, pledge $1 and then spam the comment section until they reply (then remove the pledge). They only seem to care about their latest Kickstarter project and customer service for previous projects is poor at best. I'm sure you'd get your game eventually thought, they're just a little slow at sorting out issues.

In A World Of Dinosaurs looks very good. Four days away from it ending. Do we still get stung by customs though?

Yep. Unless it's shipped from the UK or they mark the value down .

Still no reply and still no game six weeks or so after others in the UK have received theirs. $77 lost and a harsh lesson learnt regarding Kickstarter after this and my issue with Luchador.

An update on 27th Passenger said all backers would received it by no later than 12th December. Nothing here. yet though I know it is only a day late and it is Christmas but I can't help being concerned whenever something from Kickstarter is late now.

On the plus side, The Resistance expansions I backed did arrive the other day though.

Kickstarter board games thread

I think I vaguely remember, a time before I involved myself on Kickstarter.

Kickstarter board games thread

Amazing. I get **** on by Queen Games with no replies to my numerous messages over the last six weeks regarding my copy of Escape Zombie City not showing up, but as soon as I pledge $1 to "support" a current campaign and mention my problems in the comments for that, I get a response within two hours late on a Christmas Eve!

And a little after ten minutes of replying with my details, despite it being Christmas Day, I received an email to say that the game, along with the KS bonus game of Inka that I selected and a free copy of Alhambra for my inconvenience will be sent by priority shipping on Monday. Excellent CS eventually. Just a shame that is took six weeks to get any help.

We're loving 27th Passenger: A Hunt On Rails here. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves deduction games. It looks like it is available to buy direct from Purple Games for 25 Euros. Well worth it.

Tiny Epic Galaxies looks quite interesting, rapidly smashed it's goal with 28 days still to go, and isn't too badly priced either. I'm in!
