I also watching E2 tonight. It is brilliant, they've not lost a beat from S5 of Breaking Bad. This is definitely the best thing I'm watching right now.

I can see it getting really dark like Breaking Bad. Currently it seems to be setting out on a course similar to that with the lead character slowly losing his soul. However, and this is complete conjecture on my part it could be that combined with the post BB scene from E1 it could then take the opposite course to BB and end up being Saul's redemption story.

If I was a TV exec now I would just offer Gilligan every penny I had and let him make whatever he wanted to. You know you'd get quality, all you'd need to do is work out how to market it properly to earn everything you could from it.

I decided to leave it until the weekend to watch episode 2 to shorten the wait for ep3...

I have no will power
Episode 2 is probably even better than Episode 1 - loving it so far

That is what Sony did when they dug up a ten-year-old script for a cop show called Battle Creek, written by Gilligan. It starts on CBS on the 1st March. Thirteen episodes, first of which is directed by Bryan Singer. Early reviews have been very promising, with some saying it is better than BCS!

Didn't he do the Lone Gunman spin off? That wasn't very good IMO.

I presume that was from his Slippin' Jimmy era?

In the previous episode he made a big thing out of telling his brother that it wasn't a Slippin' Jimmy style scam (after chuck found the hospital bill for the skaters)

Wasn't he arrested for something called a "Chicago Sunroof"? Which would imply a sort of prank rather than a scam, I would look it up but I'm at work so don't want to risk it

all the Urban Dictionary definitions, including that one, were added after the episode aired, so no doubt it's just made up...

Just watched ep3, another brilliant one. This deserves to be a massive hit and with the Breaking Bad built in audience has a chance to be one.

Criminally, I'm only just starting to get into Breaking Bad now, and have just finished watching Season 1, and love it so far.

Even though this is a prequel to BB, I guess I should stick with that before starting on this?

Yep. This will probably still be on Netflix so you've nothing to lose.

They claim it is a netflix original so it'll be there forever, BB might disappear at some point
