Dexter: Season 5 (UK Pace) ***SPOILERS***

Watched the first episode of Season 5 and so glad to have Dexter back.

Really enjoyed the continuation from Season 4...

What the hell has happened to Quinn?...has he got something horrible?...he looks so gaunt!

yes - he's either had plastic surgery or been on a severe tanning/diet/workout regime. Takes a few eps till it stops being distracting too, iirc.

So enjoying this new season...although I am not to sure on Dexter's disregard of the rules...Harry should be popping up all over the place but is oddly staying away.

Not too convinced of the 'partner' storyline, but the final reveal of this weeks episode. Robocop with photos of the body dump had me shouting at the screen...brilliant brilliant stuff!

Maybe he was told that he'd be getting his shirt off a lot this season and decided he was too big.

In the real world, at the and of the last season, he looked like a powerful and physically fit bloke....in Hollywood terms, that's a bloater!

Still loving that theme tune too, it's one of the very best 5.1, layered up pieces of music ever, the growling horns, the audio distortions, the the bass....reggae, who would have thought it?

You'd think that an idea like this would run a bit repetative after a couple of years...not so!

Watched episode 10 tonight...absolutely superb. By the time it got to the telephone call to Dexter's house and speaking to Lumen I was shouting at the TV...so so good.

TV perfection for me!

Peter Weller is so sleazy I feel like I need a wash after watching him!

Lack of comments are surprising to say the least!

This is brilliant TV...really do not want this series to end!

must have been another house? but yes, the last two episodes of this have been nothing short of amazing TV.

I thought it was going off the boil a bit the last season. Obviously Lithgow was superb, and it was one hell of a finale, but I think it dragged a bit overall, and i wondered how many more series they could carry on for.

But this season has been really strong throughout, incredibly well paced, just piling it on each week.

Are there really only 2 eps left??

There seems too much to pack into too few episodes. There will obviously be some quite major story continuations next time.

Dexter is one of the few tv shows I look forward to with anticipation each year.

Most people here watched it ages ago though.

I thought it was rubbish compared to series four. Series three wasn't great either though, so I have high hopes for series six.

Loved Peter Weller in this, he stole every scene he was in.

Just finished watching this on DVD, excellent series, extremely well written as always and what an awesome last episode. I think that is my 3rd best series of Dexter, my favourite series order is now 2, 1, 5, 4 and 3.

Surprised you put S4 that far down your list for me that was the best season way better than 5 + 3 IMO
