Panasonic P42G20B or something else

Used to be right up there on tv knowledge but over the years and with money being tight and it still is, I have been left behind times with my old crt Panasonic Quintrix which has served me well. However the thought of moving again in the near future and lugging this tv to a new abode, and the fact that I want to reward myself after a lot of hard work done in the year, my xmas pressie to myself is a new tv.

Now I have been doing my research and really have my heart set on this.

Price was £599 a few weeks back but its gone up over xmas. So I am waiting for it to come back down.

However with all the sales on there are some good bargains around but I also know the sales tactics of these big companies with people falling for sales platter and picking a cheap tv up with a massive reduction which is usually the basic model with an over inflated RRP.

So I am set on this tv and reading the reviews the main issue has been a slight buzzing noise on some models.

I was wondering through with the better knowledge from you guys on here if I am getting a good tv or there is something better out there for this price.

I really am keen on freesat included on this as freeview does not work here and I do have a dish on the wall with connections that I can use which is a big consideration as I would need to buy a seperate box.

I'm also interested in this TV, but as I may be moving to Germany in the new year I have been putting off my purchase. Anyone know if this set will work out of the box with the German digital signal?

Can't fault my G20. No buzzing either. Think it's only some sets that have that problem, definately not all.
