Trying to Tweak the Windows Explorer folder on the taskbar...

I'm finding the Windows 7 Taskbar to be not nearly as functional and efficient as people have been raving, mostly because of the idiotic decision on Microsoft's part to only allow folders via the Windows Explorer folder. Before with rocket dock I could click a button and show my D: drive with all the folders on it listed, now I have to click on the windows explorer folder, which loads up a screen with my libraries etc and my Computer>Local Disk: D listed on the left, but I THEN have to click again on local disk to expand that folder and list my D: folders.

Is there a way to make the windows Explorer folder start up with my Local Disk folders already expanded?
