Can I stop that "Frequent" site slist being displayed when you right click IE icon

In windows 7 I notice if I right click the IE icon in my taskbar or start menu etc it always displays most "frequent" sites I visit, can I disable this option as I dont want a list of clients websites and admin logins being added as it is now.

Thanks

Quick answer - yes, control panel, taskbar, start menu, customize, Number of recent items to display in Jump Lists - change from 10 to 0

However this will disable jump lists for all your programs, not just IE. Will see if there's something obvious to tweak it for IE only.

Infact, to set it to zero (rather than a low number like 1 or 2),
Control Panel/ Taskbar/ Start Menu/ Store and display recently opened items in the Start Menu and the taskbar -disable that
would be a better way (for programs that makes it actually forget the list, rather than just not display it)

I've had a look around, and there doesn't seem to be a way to just disable it for Internet Explorer, even via registry hacks.

A quick poke shows that deleting history, or using InPrivate will do it, but is possibly a bit of a faff, depending on whether you like jump lists in other applications or not.
