Although I like Gavin & Stacey, it doesn't live up to the vast hype that it's had over the last few years.

Bryn and Doris in the church was by far the best part. A lot of the gags were predictable though. Alright episode, but not the strongest by far. Glad this is the last series so they can wrap everything up.

Rob Brydon on Twitter said he doesn't get it either. The best theory was that it was - Owain Hughes? No I do not. ( Owe Wayne Hughes ).

yep, i think thats it, its just showing that he is in some strange place with different humour to him.

it was all a bit meh to me, will still watch all 6 as its nice, but its too over hyped now. shame really.

It's more Owen as in Owen Money - not a very good joke though.

Owain wouldn't be pronounced like that

It is totally meaningless - if it meant something to anyone in real life then it wouldn't be funny.

I thought the 'O' was pronounced as a 'U' though?

I just thought it meant 'You whine?' - 'No I do not'.

OWINE

So, no.

It's simply an in joke that no-one knows the answer to.

Smithy texted Gav, Gav told Stacey, Stacey texted Ness, Ness woke up and found Smithy next to her. Job done.
