I enjoyed it. It was very silly, but entertaining. Better than some of the rubbish we get these days

I just finished watching the chinese dvd of this and must say I didn't think it was that bad at all.

Yes it was extremely silly but I had fun watching it. Then again im a big Chow Yun Fat fan so to me he can make any crappy film watchable....

Wow, all of a sudden people who liked it are crawling out of the woodwork! I thought it was okay at best, but 'm not going to buy the dvd. Think of it as Chow Yun Fat's equivalent of The Tuxedo.

I thought it was pretty good but the whole plugging the monks in to some computer was a bit far fetched :E

After over a month on release it hasn’t even earned back 1/3 of it’s production and marketing budget in the States. Goes without saying there’ll be no sequel - Thank God.

I’m astonished anyone other than children enjoyed this drivel to be honest.

Bit of a shame this as I thought it was set up very nicely for a sequel.....or maybe a TV series with the Punk and the Chick in.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion I suppose...but I really enjoyed it, and it goes into my fave film's of the year list.

Pony.

Some acceptable bits but most of it very mediocre. Nazi after an artefact that grants ultimate power, Raiders of the Lost Ark anyone?

Bad martial arts, cant stand all the wire-fighting stuff. Principal actors not that bad, but Jade very badly undescripted.

3/10

It kept me entertained...
More worrying are these silly "British" baddies that keep popping up in american films..Do we really sound like that?

what a load of rubbish! Was better then I expected but it was the comical action that ruined the movie!

why bother using Chow Yun Fat when they could have any actor for the main role who can speak perfect english? with the amount of Wirework and Computer Effects used, Stifler looked just as talented!

Wirework/CGI makes the action look terrible most of the time. Watch Replacement Killers instead, damn Ive even watch the Corrupter again, over this!

Bulletproof monk is completely ludicrous, and features an indy 3-esque comedy nazi as the villain, yet it was extremely entertaining and didn't wear out its welcome, which is more than can be said of the unintentionally hilarious Matrix reloaded- what a pompous pile of garbage that was, although to be fair, monk was also unintentionally amusing at times, but in a good way [I think!]
