Surprised no thread on this one already.

Great film I thought - fantastic idea behind it, and nicely executed with some good tension building to start with and hide-behind-the-sofa moments followed by all out action. We've bought the DVD but it now has a limited cinema release too - well worth a visit.

Basic plot is a bunch of mercenaries escorting an engineer into some Eastern European hellhole, down a WWII bunker and then it all gets spooky and just basically all round.

How can you argue with Titus Pullo battling
, after all?

It was dullsville. I liked the concept of the movie but it delivered sweet FA. It was a bit like Dog Soldiers minus the characters/dialogue, action, and scares...

This.

How on earth you mess up a film about mercenaries battling zombie Nazi's is beyond me.

The makers of The Bunker managed it previously, with pretty much exactly the same concept.

I'm amazed this is getting a theatrical release - it's got STV written all over it.

I thought it was watchable when I saw it on the big screen a couple of weeks ago. It has some flaws, the Nazi Zombies don't really get enough screen time for example and has borrowed a bit too freely too much from other Nazi zombie films but it was diverting. Also nice to see another reasonable British genre film. DVD is out stateside. I found the film improved on the small screen.

What other Nazi Zombie films?

Only one off the top of my head is the superb Shockwaves, I cannot think of any others

What he said.

The idea sounded good, but.. the plot holes were plentiful, and I couldn't take "Tyres" seriously.

I finally watched this last night, mainly because some of the set pieces have been re-used at Section 8 Airsoft which was pretty funky in a "I've ducked behind that bit of set with my gun aiming over it" kind of way

Was entertaining, if a little predictable at some points, but I'll certainly have a look for other nazi zombie genre films in future.

Interesting premise, but I thought it was pretty average actually. Fairly disappointing use of things given the setup.

It had many good parts to it but the monsters were too inconsistent and random so no suspense could be built up as you knew anything could happen at any time a bit like trying to unsuccessfully string various stunt pieces together with no rhyme or reason. ala jackie chan movies.

Could have been a decent horror flick...
