Speaking of T2, that grenade / shell launcher that Arnie uses - including to finally help killing the T-1000 - is my second favourite. It makes a great "plunk!" sound whenever he fires it.

I recall a huge ultra-long range rifle from a lowbrow Western called Billy Two Hats starring Gregory Peck, no less. The guy fires it several minutes after Peck and his protege have departed across the arid landscape and suceeds in hitting the former's horse.

Burt Gummer in Tremors had a smaller modern version .
