The Walking Dead (u.s. pace & no spoilers from the comic please)

Just watched ep 4. The gang stuff was a bit silly but i liked how they wrapped it up. The last few minutes were excellent though. Nice and crunchy. Great acting from the woman who plays Andrea too.

I'm ****** this only has six episodes.
As much as I love this I have a feeling if HBO had this it would be 12-13 eps and a touch better.

Also didn't realise this was going to be 6 episodes! Put's the death ratio in to a different perspective.

Episode 4 was excellent - and nice to see they're keeping up a few things from the comic...

(going into comic spoilers... so everyone else stay away from the below)

I thought it was another good one.

Andrea & Amy scene was some fantastic acting.

Got a lost vibe from this ep too.

Over next week though. Boo. 6 eps way too short.

lol @ tags.

Stick your comic spoilers up your arse poster above!

I agree about 6 eps being too short. It's almost over just as it is getting started.

Tsk - charming.

2nd series has been greenlit though, I think?

Firmly tongue-in-cheek gavin, fret not. It has indeed been greenlit. I believe they are currently filming so I'm guessing this time next year for next season?

Anyone else feel the use of John Murphy's music from Sunshine seemed a little out of place where it was used? A bit like, 'Well we couldn't use the 28 Days Later music at the start of the series, and this is pretty good too so we'll stick it in here'?

dont usually watch stuff like this, but im glad i've given this a go on the recommendations of a few people... just caught up with the first 4 episodes.

i too was annoyed this series was only 6 episodes, i hope they make more... it has a lot of potential.

Anyone know what the viewing figures are doing?
Hope it doesn't lose momentum with it being such a short series.

Felt like they did an entire season of Lost in 1 episode...very interested to see if this will lead fully on to the 2nd season or tie it up in the first 6.

Have to say this is a bit hit and miss for myself. Loved episode 4 but episode 5 was so bland. I really dont want to have to go through each characters emotions/concerns when the story does not dictate the requirement for this.

Doing this means you actually do give a **** when a character bites the dust though.

I just found out that the bloke who got chained on the roof (forgot his name) was played by Michael Roker. Didn't recognise him with hair

I'm enjoying this. Ep5 seemed to have a big plot hole (presumably a deleted scene):
