Thanks, I haven't read any of the comics, so didn't know. Unfortunately, I've now looked them up at Amazon and gotten an eye full of spoilers. I just couldn't resist taking a peek at where the series is headed.

As much of a Romero fan that I am, I have to agree with that.

Not read any of the comics, so the storyline is all new to me. LOVED the first 2 episodes and a definite purchase when it's released

I watched half of ep one on the bus to work this morning at 7am, and the other half at work at 2pm. Absolutely loved it found it chilling, and I jumped once or twice.

Wish I didn't have to walk down a steep, pitch black, 2 mile long hill, at 6am tomorrow, with nothing but a torch ....

The Walking Dead (please use SPOILERS as uk pace is only 4 days behind)

Another great episode. I really hope they can keep this up. Showing early signs of the comics later darkness too. Zombies definitely aren't the scariest things around.

I was a little disappointed by the 2nd episode. The survivors know Atlanta is basically out of bounds and yet they're fannying about scavenging for what exactly? in a branch of Marks & Spencer when there must be countless smaller towns on the outskirts and plenty of supplies in abandoned houses.

Also the zombie rules seem to have changed already. In the pilot, keep quiet, stay in after dark and you'll be left alone. Now they're using tools to break through glass doors, climbing over chain fences ...

Not happy with that at all - very silly and sets a bad precedent.

Brilliant second ep though.

It didn't really change, it's just the zombies didn't realise anyone was in the house so we didn't see what they would have done to get in.

They've obviously got some memory, because the mother from the first episode was trying to get back in the house she died in.

Didn't really think much of episode 3. The characters are all pretty awful stereotypes all of a sudden and

Ah ... so sitting in a top floor window shooting at them is probably on the 'things not to do list?'

Brilliant first two episodes. Utterly boring third. You can see where the budget ran out.

They're pretty much following the plot of the comic so it's not really a question of budget, they're just adhering to the storyline. If you're expecting to see a bunch of characters running away from zombies each week this probably isn't the show for you.

The graphic novel and i reckon the series are not about Zombies.

Better stop watching, if your expecting Dawn of the dead every week.

Absolutely agree.

If the series follows the graphic novels (and seems to be pretty close so far), then it appears some people may be very disappointed based on a couple of the comments above. Not me though - I though the 3rd episode was the strongest of the 3 by far.

Oh, I'll drop it alright if it continues like that. And so will much of the rest of the audience and the good ship Cancellation will hove into view on the horizon. Just remember that...!
