Good deal but S2 is in the wrong aspect ratio (should be 1.78:1 not 4:3) and S3 isn't anamorphic, plus the R1 has more extras.

Is R1 set all 1.78:1 and all anamorphic?

Hmm, this is instoretoo. Always wanted to watch this. Might check it out tomorrow. It will probably be 80 euro here though.

Fantastic price, although as a couple of people have pointed out, some of the seasons should be 1.78:1 (and are in the R1 set) but are 4:3 on R2. I think Season 1 is 4:3 in both regions.
And the R1 packaging is cooler

R1 is $210 + P&P currently, even without Customs and VAT it works out at around £130 or so. with customs and VAT you are easily looking at £170.

I think saving £80 to £120 will ease the pain of the 4:3 and the uglier box just a bit

Season 2 should be 4:3. The R1 set is 4:3 cropped to 16:9. I was wrong. See later post.

Season 3 is 16:9, but the R2 is letterboxed, not anamorphic. I think this was corrected for the R1 release.

There was a problem with there being Extras advertised on one of the R2 seasons, but not present on the actual discs. Don't know which season it was off the top of my head though.

Saw season 6 in HMV today for £60. For some reason I can't see that selling...
