FX showed the the 1st season, so looks like we'll miss out on HD screening fro season 2 unless FX has bought 2nd run rights

possible spoiler about the house -

Anyways, loving this show.

I assumed the house was Walter's. The pool looks the same, and I'm sure there was some kind of pink toy in the background a couple of episodes ago (the one where Walt Jr threw up in the pool).

Possibly, as I say, can't be certain. It was a very brief flash and it could even have been the lead-in to the next scene - can't remember!

From the website:

Quite a powerful ending, mostly because of the split second you see him make the decision

Yes, I'm a week behind with this, so can't come into these thread until now, but that ending was a corker.

Well it was a shock I think it might be a jump to far for Walter. It's one thing killing a drug dealer who might kill you, it's another watching a girl choke to death and not helping. If she dies there's going to be a lot of people asking questions.

Interesting final episode.

The Good
You get the feeling that if Skylar tells Hank exactly what she knows about Walter it's inevitable that he's going to figure out what's going on pretty quickly. It'll also be interesting to see if Mr Big still wants to deal with Walter now he knows who he's related to. Some amazing cinematography in this episode, and wonderfully cringeworthy dialogue during the TV interview (why do I get the feeling that the "he knows everything there is to know about chemistry" will get some cogs in Hank's head whirring ).

The Bad
Very disappointed with the resolution to the opening shots we've been getting with each episode. Ridiculously over-contrived, and the monumental level of coincidences for it to happen are just stupid. Sloppy writing, to the point where I actually wonder if the writers knew how they were going to resolve it at the beginning of the series.* If the whole purpose was to illustrate how our actions can have major consequences which are completely unforseen, hadn't they done that far more elegantly with the Walter/Skylar confrontation?

*based on this http://sepinwall.blogspot.com/2009/0...igan-post.html they clearly did, which almost makes it worse IMO.

fantastic last two episodes. poor jane, came so close to painting castles and ****. monumental turning point for walt. he's gone a step too far and he cannot go back. jesse will find out eventually. maybe it's jesse who finally does for walt?

so, now walt has finally gone to the dark side i want him to actually become "hiesenberg." become the legend or myth, whatever.

The website & the interview will be his downfall. Someone that he's dealt with will see it and pay a visit to his family. How much money went into Walk Jr's Paypal account? You think Skylar will let him have access to it?

For a while I thought the air-traffic controller was the guy taking care of Jessie. Looked similar to Janes dad and I didn't have a clear mental picture of either frankly.

Some of the things Walt gets himself into just seem to be the start of something disasterous. I could see the paypal thing backfiring, now they're going on tv. I didn't even think about someone recognising Hiesenberg from that.

Stephen Colbert made a joke about the same car Walt drives, the Pontiac Aztec. Thought that was interesting

When was this? I must have missed a bit. The air-traffic controller was Jane's dad.

Not to mention that bloke he sold the meth too being finding out exactly who he is and who his family is.

I've loved this series, even the episodes where little happened, it always managed to keep the suspense up. Thought the end was a bit WTF, but it kinda works, a bit. I think it nicely tied into that map we saw earlier of how widespread the meth he made has spread out over country but he's keeping his own doorstep clean.

I think he's referring to the guy who cleared Jesse's flat of drugs after Jane's vom-death.
