The timer can be a right bugger, I played a fast timer game and it was a mad panic to get in each time, resulting in many mucked up shots which added to the panic as that took longer. :

Yes please. It's been a long time since those DVDF Links 2003 competitions. 5 years in fact!

Oh and on another note, is this the first PAL game to have in-game messaging via your buddys list (excluding Home)? Rock Band does it but i don't recall any others.

I haven't actually started it! Popped the game on, then went to check out the lobby system. Only now heading back offline to start my first single player game.

This game is the first time I've really missed the ability to play my own music in-game.

It really is tommy tank that you STILL can't do that! I'd actually play Everybody's Golf a lot more if I could listen to some (decent) music, and the wife would be happier too...

With this being my only PS3 game at the mo and the only one I've ventured online with it really strikes home (no pun intended) how far behind Sony is with their online experience. I wish this was an Xbox Live compatible game for all the infrastructure you get with every game (things like custom soundtracks, proper friend invites etc.... things I've taken for granted).

In other news, I've just unlocked the crazy old Japanese fella, what a riot he is

For £30 extra a year I'd expect better online content!

It funky alright but how can anyone not like the opening menu music of the PAL one? Its golf-y and cute like the game.

Just tried my first round online last night, will try and avoid the "Really Slow" ones from now on, found I was waiting for about 2 mins after a par 5. Why Can't you go onto the next hole when everyone has finished the current hole, Why must we all wait for the timer!

Still really enjoying it though!
