You're quite right. I discovered this just after posting. I'm now on Gold and I've just qualified to play Dino. I've played him once, but he's a right lucky sod!! He's also a demon around the greens.

Anyone playing/played Dino?

does anyone know how you progress from level 13? I've some people on-line with level 16!

I've beaten all the bosses with complete victories and got par or below on all the courses (including the down loaded one) in the stroke game.

Have you recorded under-par scores for all the 18 hole & long-tee mirror courses too?

That's your online tournament rating. You start on G3 & work your way up to G1. You can only play online tournaments for your current rating or lower. GF is a free-for-all tournament that anyone can enter.

Yeah, to advance from G3 to G2, you need to win two online G3/GF tournaments or a lot of 2nds/thirds.

I read on a FAQ that it takes into consideration, every single hole on every course, including the mirrored/long tee ones, when calculating your level score. I'm sure i've at least birdied every hole on the first course, but still lots of holes on later courses to birdie. Took me forever to get from Level 10 to 11. I think part of that jump, was unlocking the final course.

Well I'm now on Level 11 and a tournament ranking of Platinum. I've just played probably my best round ever, scoring -14 on 18 holes at Okinawa. I played like a demon!!

I think I've unlocked all the courses, but still have one character to go and I'm halfway to playing Anya now.

I'm one tournament win away from playing the final character, but a major fault in the game is when you're in a deep bunker and 14m from the hole, whatever club you choose you can only hit the ball 15m. This means that once in the bunker (or any other deep recess), you can never hit the ball far enough to get you out of the hole and the ball keeps rolling back in.

Yea I have had that happen to me on numerous occasions, very frustrating.

I've had the same problem (usually on 10m putts uphill) and solved it. Press Square and the range doubles.

Totally addicted to the demo version of this (PS3)

In two minds about picking up the full copy, I have £40 burning a hole in my pocket.

I don't get into bunkers very often. I'm a straight driver.

Surely pressing Square is dependant on how many power shots you have left though?
