Wish I never saw that Sony Player as I think I'm going to have to buy it. Handy for going cycling and the gym.

considering the sony player but;

in the past i've read that sony players *require* sonicstage to be used. I'd rather not use it as, in my experience, its appalling and would much prefer to use windows to just drag and drop to the player.

can I use file manager to put music onto this player?

thanks for the help

Gone for it. (curse these bored night shifts!) I'm sure you can just drag and drop MP3s as it acts as a memory stick (for files) as well?

Officially, the answer is yes, you have to use sonicstage. However, if you google VoidMP3FM then you'll see you can use that instead of sonicstage and just drag and drop.

You'll get it from here: http://www.drvoid.com/

The only reason I had to stop myself getting one was sonicstage and you come up with that gem

Just as a clarification, that software can't be used on all players that use sonicstage, just the flash based ones.

Gone for that Sony player. Will be great for the gym when my Zen Vision is too bulky. Thanks OP.

Doh!

Looks like I've just missed out. There doesn't seem to be an add to basket option anymore.
