A couple of questions regarding Samsung 3D T.V.

The Mrs has just ordered a Samsung 50" Plasma (PS50C6900YKXXUPY731P) from Very (due to their BNPNY and sale price carrot dangling) after our current Samsung LCD dying a death.
Normally when I'm shelling out so much on tech, I do some research, but I've been struggling to find reviews on this one - anyone any experience?

Also, there seemed to be two lots of the Samsung 3D glasses available - but nothing to discriminate them, so I opted for the cheapest pair of pairs (?) for now. Can anyone shead any light?

Cheers in advance.

Don't know that model of Samsung.

The glasses though, the 2 different models of active shutter Samsung glasses are ones that take a battery and ones that are rechargeable as far as I know.

Cheers Francis - I appear to have plumbed for the battery powered glasses - that may prove to be tiresome.

This is the TV in question: http://tiny.cc/uxe6p

I've a PS50C680 (more than happy with it, big upgrade on my previous 40" LCD).

Just google PS50C6900 and a few reviews show up for your screen, http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourc...c6900&aq=f&oq=

http://www.whathifi.com/Review/Samsung-PS50C6900/

The glasses model numbers are;

SSG-2100AB for the battery powered ones
SSG-2200AR for the rechargeable ones

Just noticed some SSG-2200KR ones, rechargeable but smaller for kids, you didn't order them did you?

Cheers again pal. Looks to be more than okay from the read up - a few issues with black levels, but I think I can live with that.
Nope, didn't order the kids version of the glasses, but I do have kids (and a lovely, slender swede), so even if I did it wouldn't be too much of an issue
