I just remembered the contraption that Burt Gummer had in Tremors 2. That's the silvery coloured gun with mounts for which he wears earplugs before firing. I recall that the shell went clean through the bug, a barrel, a stone wall and through the engine compartment of a car parked in the field....and could not be found afterwards.

There was a shotgun too.

How about the glove-guns in Inglourious Basterds? They were ace.

I've never seen that uncut clip from Commando before. .. You just can't beat a bit of 80's power violence.

Pretty much anything hand held in Aliens, and the silenced shotgun from NCFOM get nods from me.

I also like Mal's sidearm in Firefly/Serenity.

Syndrome's zero-point energy beam glove from "The Incredibles".. not so much hand held as hand worn?

Not hand held exactly (well at all), but Cherry Darling's leg mounted chain gun in planet terror was pretty good.

NSFW
I've seen that clip before, is this genuine? I ask because the effects look very poor.
