Yep was a very good Direct. Like the look of Astral Chain as well. Box Boy looks interesting.

SMM2 is a day one buy really looking forward to getting frustrated at dying constantly on use created levels lol.

Nintendo going after the fitness craze again:

My main thoughts after 30 seconds of that was how the presenters upbeat chirpiness reminded me of this:

I kind of am. But I'm both a fitness and game addict so they probably couldn't have a more ideal target audience.

Ring Fit

Is anyone using this and more importantly does it work. I walk around 7 to 10k a day and achieve my Apple Watch goal of 650 calories around 4 out of 7 days but I’m after something just to add to this. Help me loose a little more weight and get fitter.

so had anyone had success with it and also does it have to be played on a tv or can you have the switch console testing on desk etc and displaying the game ?

I can't imagine it would be very practical in console mode since you have to be far enough away from the screen to have enough room to exercise. So unless you have extremely good eye sight or have already learned all the exercises and can carry them out without the visual help, I'd say that's a no go.

There's 30 difficulty levels so I'm sure there's something for everyone. It's not getting my heart rate up that high but I'm pretty fit and it was never going to compete on that front to my usual workout (Insanity).
It does exercise different muscles though and I'm aching from it - particularly in the arms. When you've done a lot of squeeze and holds with that ring - it gets tough! My legs get much more of a workout than my arms usually so I think this'll be great for me.

59 minute go on it last night (I dropped down to level 25 since my last post). Loving it. This will easily be my most played game of the year by the end of the year.

Not that anyone who doesn't already own it has a hope of finding a copy to buy!

I bought Ringfit at Christmas and finally gave it a try for the new DLC. I am surprised at how much this thing makes you work.

Many people have had there Nintendo online accounts hacked and Paypal/credit cards hit - Seems they buy Fortnite stuff.
Check your accounts and put on 2 factor authentication.

Edit... Confirmed there has been some sort of hack info... https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...privacy-breach

Thanks for the heads up. I've got credit card, paypal and gift card credit on my account so yeah, enabling 2FA!

Seems the hack is related to the older 'Network ID' that older console used. I still have a 3DS but if you don't have anything older than a Switch then you may not have one of these, or can 'unlink' it if you do.

At the start of lockdown I sold my RingFit for more than I paid for it and bought Animal Crossing. Today I weighed myself and I'm starting to think I made the wrong decision

Fear not. You can simply lick the ANimal Crossing cartridge every time you want to eat junk food. Et voila!

I finally managed to convince my wife we needed a Switch and I managed to grab one direct from Nintendoa couple of days ago. It's just arrived.

It's comewith Mario Kart & Super Mario Maker 2.

I;m going to get Fitness Boxing and Ring Fit if I can at some point.

Any other recommendations for good stuff. I haven't gamed for about 10 years so am somehat out of the loo. I have a preference for platformers, Doom type games and sport stuff?

Cheers
