Even then 4th may not be enough if Championship ect results go against us.

Aye, if we finish 4th and city win the cl and Liverpool win the Europa, we'd not get in the cl. Not that we will do much in it....

So if City and Liverpool are bother champions in their respective competitions, the only way England gets 4 CL places is if it's City that finish 4th?

So a repeat of the 1990 cup final then. The result that arguably cemented SAF's place at United.

I think you're now allowed five places, so if Liverpool and City win their contests and neither finish in the top 3, then they get the space and 4th misses out.

To be honest, I think you'd get good odds on all three winning!

Sadly and shamefully yes but Herrera should have been sent off,Horrible foul.

Two lucky goals in the game as well.

which foul? the tug on Barkley, where Barkley went on to deliberately kick Herrera in a Beckham style? Barkley should have been dismissed if anything - Herrera wasn't even the last man!

Swings and roundabouts anyway; Jagielka should have been sent off for deliberate hand ball, and United should have had a penalty.

I am hoping that Utd don't win the cup and the icing on the cake they do not even get in the nohoper league too.

Saw exactly the same foul on Wilshire from a sunderland player yesterday. The rules are its a yellow - let's not change the rules to suit your agenda!!

And some refs rule it as a red card-so let's not change the rules to suit your team!!

Its not a clear goal scoring opportunity, and I can't remember seeing anyone sent off for tugging back a player by his shirt.

Herrera is well capable of a horrible tackle, but that was nothing.
Boo hoo, he pulled my shirt.

It use to be called a professional foul when you did that once and can be ruled as a red card offence.

I see - so as i'm a Utd fan I have to agree with you?

Anyway - onto something more relevant. Looks like stories around Sanches are increasing quite a bit.

Shirt pulling has never been a red card, unless you are the last man.
Barkley's kick was worse.

As an ABU you're never going to believe United should get any decision.
