Mockingbird and Western Front arrived today. Lovely Digibooks. Western Front looks incredible.

Also included is the silent version of Western Front - not mentioned anywhere on the packaging.

A very nice 10 min teaser of further Universal restorations is included on both titles.

Sure you didn't just sit on the mute button?

Sounds great. I'll start picking these up soon. Not sure about the choices in wave 2 though. The Nutty Professor FFS!

Might pass on Nutty -

Very nice 40 page booklets in the digibooks too.

Mockingbird is great - 90 min making of - 'Fearful Symmetry' and a 98 min doc about Gregory Pecks career is included too + commentary and other bits and pieces.

All for £12.

I see in the States they included Jesus Christ Superstar in the 100th anniversary releases but only on DVD (and a release of the previous disk at that). Why no BD?

They seem to be releasing a series of something called "Augmented Reality Edition" BDs at around £7 each:

Back to the Future £7.97

Other titles include The Mummy, Jurassic Park, Apollo 13, King Kong (2005) etc

Seem to be no clues as to what these are, other than something about downloading an app and pointing your device at the cover to get some exclusive...

It tells you on the details page for each title I think.

All you need to know is that the actual disc is no different to before.

Are the initial titles being releashed in the book format and does anyone have release dates for them?

All Quiet on the Western Front
The Birds
Abbott & Costello's Buck Privates
Dracula (1931), + the Spanish-language Dracula filmed on the same set at night
Frankenstein
Jaws
Schindler's List
Out of Africa
Pillow Talk
Bride of Frankenstein
The Sting
To Kill a Mockingbird

I've got "All Quiet" and "to Kill A mockingbird" and would like the other titles.
