Dracula has been restored more time on home video than he ever was in the film series...

Was there a criteria for the choice of restorations or was it completely random.

As much as I'm pleased about The Birds, what about Vertigo?
And Universal, where the bloody hell is a decent release of Death Becomes Her? Blu-ray needs to save that movie from home video hell!

I used to love that movie! Is it aged well? (pun semi-intended)

Quite bizarrely, yes! I think it gets funnier with every viewing and of course the whole "walking dead of Beverly Hills" has come to pass with the many plastic surgery nightmares that live there!

No rear window? Hopefully it's because it doesn't need restoration and not that they just didn't think it deserved it. Surely Jaws is in better shape than something like RW

Looks like we are getting these in rather tasty digibooks.

Not sure I like these digipacks. Seems like an easy way to charge an extra $15 to me.

They are only £12 ($20) as it is.

You saying these brand new HD transfers should be £3 on release?

Didn't realise they were that cheap. I was referring to the Warners digibook releases like The Man Who Would Be King and All The President's Men which are great but cost a lot more for what is basically unnecessary packaging.

Nice - having just read the book I might pick up Mockingbird. I did think of getting a copy when I'm in the States next month but this is just as cheap

What do they expect to "restore" with a modern film like Schindler's List ... The colour?

Am I being odd in being curious at seeing it in colour?

Perhaps by 'restoration' they just mean 'not one of our catalogue abominations'. Schindler's nearly 20 anyway. Might be modern to old farts, but it's older than some members here.

It's modern in terms of film. You would imagine that the negative is in pretty good shape
