No Sky Q being installed day - apparently they are not allowed to take 4/5 steps walking through an empty, sealed off, part of a house.

Still, I suppose that will be Ł15pm I won't be spending during lockdown

That's the weird/annoying thing.

The engineer had already confirmed that in our case - upgrading to Sky Q from Sky HD - all he had to do was replace the LNB on the dish and everything else is done by the customer.

Different strokes for different companies I guess ... we have someone coming round next week to reline a chimney stack and replaster a chimney brest without any issues/concerns at all. Go figure

I had Virgin Media installed on 7th Jan, there days after lockdown was announced, and before that I checked if they'd still be able to do it. To my surprise they still do all home installs and they are the only ISP to do that under lockdown. Some of their installers aren't happy about it but the guy I had wasn't too bothered. And he came through the house and upstairs to install it too.

Just need to check my bill in a few days time to make sure they don't start charging me for multiroom and netflix regardless of their engineer cancelling
