Other than things like a Canadian Winter Planet in the middle of no-where (what a coincidence)
And why is there a door and old guy on this planet (was this ever explained?)
I can't get over how comical the bad guys are.
Honestly you'd meet nastier people on a trip into London at night, let alone a whole evil empire.
Georgiou, supposedly the most evil person ever, hell, even she's a soft touch now.
It's all rather comic book evil and sadly laughable how they must be told to act to appear mean to each other.

Anyone else laugh out loud when Burnham expressed her apprehension about Saru being too emotional & not being able to make an objective decision?

one problem with it is that apart from the Captain none of the bridge crew have personalities which is important as much of the action takes place here
top marks though to Oded Fehr who brings real gravity to his role as the Admiral - also was good to see Paul Guilfoyle put in a good guest appearance

I enjoyed seeing Suru being a human person this episode. It was odd though!

In actual reality what should Suru do?
Put his foot down hard, ignore advice and stamp authority?
Resign?
Have a meeting and explain there is no point in him being in charge if he's going to be overruled basically by those not only above him but pretty much below him also?
If you are put into charge, and then you are pretty much not taken seriously what should you do?
Putting up with it, seems demeaning.

Yeah it was weird. I had to check it was the actual regular actor as my brain said his voice was different too.

I think his voice was a little different - probably because when he's in costume he pulls a Suru-face when speaking - which would look odd without the mask

Well the most recent two episodes are a marked improvement on the mirror universe nonsense

That might possibly have been the best episode of the season. Osira actually had some depth and want portrayed as a one dimensional villain.

I did wonder if she was related with that name but I didn’t bother to look it up

I had to look up who Margot Kidder was. It's a long time since I've seen the original Superman!
I too enjoyed this episode. Though Burnham telling Stamets he couldn't just run off to save someone he cared about was a little hypocritical. Breaking the rules to do that is all she's ever done.

The only thing that bothered me was
The best thing about the show at the moment is probably Booker's ship. Very cool in chase scenes.

That wasn't a too bad last three episodes though I am sure some on here won't be happy with how the latest episode ended

I think the series as a whole was quite decent. Though

Last episode was *****. Far too much simpering at each other and talking like walking therapists reading scripts, coupled with smug pious looks at each other.
Hideous.
