Whereas I watched this weeks and was dissappointed, the storytelling always gets bad towards the end of the season it seems.

It’s quite clear now that the makers of this series are putting their all into the look and feel of the shows, which is 100% fantastic.
However, they’re not troubling themselves with pesky details like a coherent plot or characters making sensible decisions. I think you’re best just sitting back and enjoying it like a souped-up revamp of The A-Team where baddies can’t shoot for toffee (unless they are on your side for 5 minutes, then they can shoot across the bridge like dead-eye dick) and everything’s wrapped up neatly at the end of the episode.

An Office Space/Star Wars shared universe - now that's something I can get behind.
Absolutely loved this episode.

Good point well made, am aware Star Wars was always meant to be like the old RKo serials like Flash Gordon etc and it fits perfectly, cant help my brain wants them to make it be more logical!

I agree. With all the creative talent available, you’d think they could weld style with substance. It’s enjoyable nonsense, but it could have been even better.

Such a fantastic ending to the series. Wasn’t expecting THAT appearance either!
There’s an after credits sequence too so don’t miss that

The Book of Boba Fett coming 2021. I’m not the biggest Star Wars fan, anyone tell me if that’s a show fans want to see?

They certainly went all out on that. so enjoyable, bar the death troopers which is an awful design.
Have no idea where they go for Season 3 mind.

Pretty much everyone who was a kid in the 80s I’d of said
As a player of the toys and a reader of the comics THIS is Star Wars
This is what I lay in front room making up with my toys.
I’ll take as much as they want to give

That was an amazing and very emotional end to S2.
Loved the post-credits thing too!
But f*&^ everyone who is spoiling the **** out of it on Twitter. Luckily I was offline all morning then watched the episode just in case, but am so glad I did as its all over social media.

That was frigging awesome - though the CGI for , at the end, looked off to me.
As others have said no idea where this means they go with season 3

Awesome finale to a consistently brilliant second season. As others have said, this made a 51yr old Star Wars fan feel like the boy who watched & loved the original trilogy over 40yrs ago.
Proper goosebumps when the “Jedi” arrived & tears were shed during the emotional farewell at the end...

That's how you do it. Now just retcon/erase the sequel trilogy and we're good from here on out. I dunno, make it a bad Wookie's dream, Chewie comes walking out of a giant wookie shower and just carries on as if nothing happened.

For me the core of this series has been the relationship between Mando and the Child. That's going to be hard to replicate

I didn't have a problem with them, but it was like someone saw the Lego Imperial Death Trooper Buildable Figure that came out for Rogue One & just decided to use that design.
Superb end to a superb season. Let out a little squeal when that character turned up. And then another when that character followed.
My only (minor) problem with the episode was the end credits, which are usually a highlight. No production artwork & I didn't like the version of the theme tune they used. Sounded like something from King Arthur's court. Should have stuck with the classic!
