Watch Dogs Legion - PC, Xbox, PlayStation - Oct 29th
Ubisoft showed this at their E3 2019 conference. Set in London, the main hook is you can 'play as anyone' - scout the citizens, play their origin missions and then recruit them. Build a roster of characters with different abilities and then use them to tackle missions in different ways. If one of them dies, that's it, switch to another.
I finally decided to installl my free copy of Watch Dogs 2 today. I wasn't really eager to play it back when the free copy landed primarily because I didn't enjoy the first game, but I could see the seeds of a decent game in there buried under a mountain of Ubisoft bullcrap, so seeing as Watch Dogs 2 was free I decided to give it a chance. That's 30mins of my life i'll never get back. Gameplay seemed more of the same but the user interface is ******* disgraceful (how many button presses just to get to the game options menu?) and the performance is IMO completely unacceptable. Thank god I didn't spend a penny on this crap because had I paid for it (and tbf I never would off the back of Watch Dogs) I would be absolutely livid. You can't play that game at 60fps at 1080p even with all the graphical settings at minimum. I am not exaggerating here. Watch Dogs 2 cannot give you a solid 60fps for longer than five seconds at a time before you see big fps drops even at the lowest graphical settings.
My rig? Nvidia Geforce 980ti, i7 4770K. Cannot play this game at all on the minum graphical settings... Ladies and gentleman: PC gaming master race!
Good luck getting this new game to work on anything but the most high end SLI set ups. It's becoming a complete cliché these days to find performance issues in Ubisoft games, all because they can't be bothered to optimise them properly. Every time it boils down to a case of new game, same old Ubisoft bullcrap.
Just started playing and already found “The Bug” podcast, basically “The Bugle” podcast in all but most of the name, with Andy Zaltzman (The great all-powerful Zaltor) and Alice Fraser, of the original show, so I’m more than happy.

I'm really enjoying this so far. Been a while since I've got into a single player game.
I do seem to be reluctant to use any of the other agents other than my starting one. I recently unlocked a Hitman whose abilities seem like cheating.
This game is fantastic so far but it crashes way too much.
My PS4 has blue screened at least 10 times with 3 or 4 of them corrupting my save.
Pro tip - back up often!

How do you know it’s saving the data? I’ve just resumed on the Series X and I did a load of sweeping of ETO/Relics etc yesterday and I’ve come back to it today and most if not all are back uncollected. That’s 3-4 hours of my life wasted, I do not want to have to do it again!
Getting p’ed off with this game now, how the hell do you save a game!!?? Everytime the game crashes and I have to restart I return 1-2 hours behind where I was! I now have to hack
I’ve had enough now, not only had I completed that mission but played the best part of a day and it’s all gone yet again.
It turns out this won’t be fixed till next month at least. I won’t be playing it again till then... if ever, I’m furious, I’ve spent a week doing this soddin’ mission and I’ve still got it to do.
Honestly I don’t understand why anyone would voluntarily play any AAA open world game so soon after release as they’re all rushed out and bugged to buggery for at least a few weeks - especially Ubisoft games! You’re making the right decision!
I did the first few missions and have then left it. On PC it's been incredibly flaky for me so I'll come back to in a while.
Living in central London though it's been incredibly cool to drive around and be able to navigate from personal knowledge.
Some areas are 'abbreviated' so both my flat and office are not quite there but I can recognise what's changed enough so I can see where they would be.#
