Yeah it's great that Betty Gilpin's starting to make the jump from bit-parter to leading lady (well, looks like she might be co-lead) in genre films now. She's been absolutely killing it in TV for years.

Looks like fun & I'm always down for another take on The Most Dangerous Game, but that trailer really does seem to give away most of the film.

looks good to me, I like that sort of stuff (escape room etc). Watched THE CUBE recently which was also pretty good (if old)

And it's release date of September 27th has been cancelled, not the right time if any exists to release a movie which glamorizes hunting down people who the media say are caricatures of Trump supporters.

Trailer has gone as well... sigh..

I can't be bothered to find a replacement. Oddly youtube is fairly thin on results for 'The Hunt 2019' and is and happy to favour rightwing 'reactions' to the original trailer and videos of people hunting animals. For example a video of some small dicked survivalist coward hunting a polar bear.. wtf... sigh.

The trailer is still around on other movie channels. This looks pretty good but as already mentioned, it looks to give away major plot moments.

I can't see the problem with it, its the old story of people get kidnapped to be hunted then

It does not help the media (even the bbc) say its

The Hunt, a satirical film in which liberals hunt Trump supporters and kill them for sport, was due to be released on 27 September.
Of course the orange **** has to tweet ****

The movie coming out is made in order to inflame and cause chaos. They create their own violence and then try to blame others. They are the true racists and are very bad for our country!"

It would make loads with all this publicity though, if they ever do release it no one will remember what all the fuss was about.

Reviews are out of this. Seems to be OK from what I have seen. A social commentary about strangely rich liberals versus "redneck" right wing.

Kills are comedic to some extent and the general consensus is that it's pretty entertaining..

same as the trash that is the invisible man (but this is the better film)

its horrible pricing, i know its cheaper than 2 people seeing at the cinema but its still insane for a rental that you have to watch on your own tv and not on cinema screen

Pretty enjoyable film. Some very bloody deaths but very much played for satirical laughs.

I didn't think it was at all controversial, with both right and left wing characters mocked pretty equally.

Top performance from Betty Gilpin and some other fun turns among the cast, including a scene stealing cameo from a pig.

Recommended.

This is totally something I can see ‘Dennis Reynolds’ doing!
