I have to admit, I did enjoy Pellegrini's comments about the Dortmund / Malaga game. Or was that misreported as well?
You mean his comment about how Klopp has a history of winning GAMES with offside goals and then goes on to cite ONE GAME from years ago???

Well to be fair we did manage to score in the 6th minute of 4 added on in the Derby.

Except he didn’t say that. His quote was “winning with goals offside”. No mention of games

Need to win this one, hopefully by a good margin to close the gd gap. People are acting like city have won this one already. Long way to go in this race.

If we win today and Chelsea win tomorrow, people will be saying we've won it already. People are idiots.

Much better today, but could have really closed the goal difference gap of we'd been more ruthless

Best performance today was the crowd, who were well up for it and got well behind the team. Cannot believe that Bournemouth side put 4 past Chelsea 10 days ago. As has been said we were very wasteful, should have been 5 or 6. Still not sure about the defence, we could have been behind inside the first two minutes.

Other than away to United, I can't see where City are going to drop points, not the way they're playing unless they pick up a few key injuries.

They were playing like this earlier in the season then lost four in ten. They are clearly favourites now though but while it's still in our hands i have a little hope. Fact is we've only lost one game this season to City's four and Spurs six but shades of 2008-09 where we only lost two all season, too many draws could do for us.

City made a clear statement yesterday, one I worry we won't be able to answer when the season closes.

Looking at our run in, we're involved in a lot of relegation scraps, peppered with some must win 6 pointers. That Leicester game may come back to haunt us.

On the other hand, the performance on Saturday looked like we were back on form, so as long as we can play like that or better we'll be okay. Basically we need to win every game from here on out because I don't see City dropping any more points.

This is going to go down the the last day...

Presumably that means Wolves? Hopefully they'll try a little harder this time, maybe they should have tried to bounce back from a defeat with a win after all?

City will drop points I'd have thought, but so will you. Either might get distracted by the CL

fun for the neutral anyway

I'm not so sure about City dropping points now, I think they might've had their rough patch, maybe against Spurs and Palace... maybe. The rest i can see them tonking.
