I know they're going to be starting the search (clearly nobody in mind) but I imagine they'd be warned off him. I'm guessing they're probably hoping that OGS works out OK and they can offer it to him on a permanent basis!

Not that I think he's that great a manager tbh but would no doubt be interested in the Utd job if it came up.
I'm still of this mind.

Yep, keep it as a massive 'if' please! Plus, you'll have to deal with our esteemed chairman, Daniel Levy. Good luck with that.

France were lucky & undeserved winners. May be a good manager but I would not base having him at United based on the world cup.

Nah, it kills two birds with one stone. We get a good manager & get Spurs out of the top six. Win win.

It also assumes that Pogba isn't part of the problem. What makes people think United are looking for a manager who would mean Pogba stays?

He totally is part of the problem, https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/footb...urinho-sacked/

I never wanted him in the first place, I don't want him here now, & the sooner he's gone the better. Whatever people think about Mourinho, fans paid good money to those over paid tossers & they are/were a disgrace.

I'd suggest that Pogba is the poster boy for your problems to be honest. Just there for the money, being paid obscene wages, and knowing that the next move to PSG will have to pay him even more cash (and a cut of the huge fee).

He'll earn far more over his career by constantly moving to other teams, than sticking somewhere and actually playing well.

And yet, by all accounts, he was good at Juve

Mata should have been in it. I only hope Ole doesn't stain his reputation. At least he has Mike Phelan to help him.

That was an absolute joy to watch. I was not going to watch this match, but once Mourinho was gone, it was a no brainer to watch.

One swallow does not a summer make, & it was only Cardiff, but we have struggled & lost to teams like Cardiff this season.

Onwards & upwards.

I can’t believe that’s the first time you’ve scored 5 in a match since a 5-5 draw with West Bromwich in 2013!

Predictable, but Pogba proved he's a disgrace

The hardest he's worked in a United shirt? I think so - would love to see the stats. And, of course, the next time he's not indulged he'll be back to being the sulky teenager he really is.

Still, can't deny it was more fun to watch (even though Mourinho's Utd would have won that one anyway)

Well under JM you might have laboured a tight win, so going in the right direction. But its fairly clear the players were pretty much on strike.
