Saw Crowbar in Colchester Tuesday evening for my yearly earwax removal. They played tracks off their second album, that was 20 years ago!

On the way home from CalJam 18. Foo Fighters started with their latest record, and played a reverse chronological set. Then as an encore came on and played 6 Nirvana songs with John McCauley and then Joan Jett on vocals - it was epic.

Such a great festival, Greta Van Fleet, Band of Youths, Garbage, Tenacious D, Iggy Pop (with Post Pop Depression - a great band, seen him a few times and he’s average at best, but last night it was stunning).

The US and European festivals are so much better than anything the UK puts on. Brilliantly organised and actually catering for the fans. If a decent line up next year, I’d definitely go again. Great venue.

Nothing wrong with that! Going to see The Manics three times next year, twice at Shepherds Bush, and then at Wembley supporting Bon Jovi!

Massive Attack are probably one of the most disappointing gigs I’ve ever been to, but Mezzanine is one of my favourite albums. So I may go and see them on the anniversary tour, but am 50/50.

Only have Muse and Foo Fighters planned so far for 2019 but if that's all I see, I'm happy.

Although, waiting for Rammstein to announce a proper UK tour...

July me and the Mrs are going to see Hugh Jackman and his music show, and then a few weeks later Iron Maiden.

I forgot to put Rammstein in my list and will hopefully be adding the Interpol gig in Leeds.

HMHB again, Exeter in March

I've also just seen Liz Phair has announced a London gig in June. Hopefully a few non London dates might materialise, but either way I'll be trying to get tickets. Exile in Guyville has been in my top 5 ever since it was released

Went to see Frank Turner last night and was underwhelmed. What got me was there were 'kids' queuing before 6 (doors at 7) to get in and was talking to security bloke and he said they'd had people queuing from 10 that morning for the 1975 who were playing next day... that's to get in first to get to the front,
