Simples. Take FIFA 08,09,10 etc in and get around £13 trade value for them.

Good way to get rid of worthless tat / ea / pro ego games.

Got PES 6 & 2008 and FIFA 09 & 10 sat on the shelf gathering dust so might have to take advantage of this.
Surprised they're doing this though, as those who can be bothered will surely get themselves down CEX to pick up the three cheapest games they can find and get an extra tenner for them, thus filling the shelves with the sort of unsellable crap they tried to purge before going under.

I've never done this before but it doesn't sound that great. I assume this means you have to part-exchange or will they just give you the money? If it's part-exchange is that new and used?

It's Store credit only. Ie on a store card to spend on anything you want.

Thats almost tempting - got Madden, Fifa and Pro Evo 2008 that are worth next to nothing, so might be worth trading them with the credit to get some more Live points or something!

Do Game trade in Blurays as well? Been meaning for ages to put a couple of boxsets up for sale but might be the easier way to get rid!

Do they give £10 for multiples of 3? I've got a whole stack of 360 games to get rid of and this could be worthwhile if they give me an extra £150 on top of the trade in value.

Hardware is a good bet in Game, or PSN / Xbox Live Points.

These are rrp and if needed can be sold on for cash or used.

I was told there are restrictions, but the plum didn't know what they were as they didn't have a list.

Well I went in with 16 games and got £113!!

3 x 4200 LIVE points and 1 x 90 day PSN+ trial for me.

Had to hand over £1.66 to make up the difference!

Hmm. Grainier games has started a sale today.

FIFA 08/09 old pes games are now a £1 along with some other tat they can not shift.

I bought up 18 quids worth and traded it into game for £60 plus worth of store credit

Cex also sells FIFA 08 for .50p

You can trade multiples in if you don't take the mic as they are desperate fr stock the dep manager told me.

One thing to watch is that some cex or grainier games are not uk so game wont take them, also the quality of some games are scratched to hell, game will take them but knock a quid off to clean the disk. Same applies if no manuals are with the game and they notice.
