That's a shame. Starz has party down which is worth the sub alone.
I am starting to get to the point of loosing interest in Netflix. I have no issue with their tv content and my son can always find some crap to watch in the kids section but I struggle to find a movie to watch.
Also I don't get why they have the shrek specials but not the shrek movies or how to train your dragon. Why do they have toy story 3 and none of the others?
I will keep it for a few months till I get my media server back up and running.
Well it will never have the selection of Usenet that's for sure. I'm amazed though that anyone would struggle with the us store as I'm hardly the busiest person in the world and there is a lot on there I want to see

Is there a full list available of movies for UK Netflix?
I want to get my Sis netflix for her birthday but your post gives me pause.

I don't know if there is a list for the UK but I wouldn't take anything I say as any sort of indication.
I watch a lot of movies but I just found myself wanting on Netflix. I am not looking for the latest movies and their Indie content is pretty impressive (they obviously have deal with Miramax) but there is big holes in the catalogue where the sequel is available but not the first movie etc.
I still think it's an amazing service and well worth the money but I might have overdone it myself as I watched 3 whole servies of the Office (season 3 is still the best series), Todd Margaret, a load of crap comedies, some documentaries. I don't sleep much so end up sitting up late just searching through and watching something.
Get a sub for your sister it's worth it and I would think a nice gift.
Fantastic documentary for trek fans.
Quite moving near the end
I think Avery Brooks has got sanity issues.!
He was arrested last week for suspected DUI but it would not surprise me if he was sobre. He just seems totally out there with the fairies in this doc.
Stretching the thread a bit. On the Tesco owned 'Blinkbox' (which is watchable via ps3 through the browser.) you can watch quite a lot of free films although the free films have ads.
It's a bit of a tresure trove of weird cult films.
Day of the dead, Lots of Argento, Fleah for frankenstein, The Beyond, battle royale and big boy japan all for the price of watching a maltessers advert every half hour.

I've been looking at blinkbox - you're right, there's some interesting bits on there. So they interrupt the feature for an advert mid way through the (free) movie?
By the way, I couldn't find anything on the streams. Guessing it's all in SD, ala Lovefilm?
Fans of The Artist who fancy seeing Michel Hazanavicius's earlier work which also stars Jean Dujardin (and Bérénice Bejo inthe first one), might want to check out OSS 117: Cairo Nest of Spies and OSS 117: Lost In Rio. They're French Pink Panther style spoofs and very funny indeed! And Dujardin is as charming as ever! They're both on the US Netflix.
Just a heads up that Cairo Nest of Spies expires on the 15th, according to Instantwatcher.
Also, any Harlan Ellison fans out there? For fans of the author, the terrific documentary Harlan Ellison: Dreams with Sharp Teeth expires on the 22nd Feb. It's really good, very funny in places and Ellison is on scabrous form.
