Beneath the Darkness on US Netflix. Very, very poor. Save yourself hour and a half.

Dennis Quaid in mental breakdown shocker. Film itself it set in night time and at times on the PS3 it was hard to see any of the film!

Yes, i find the PS3 very dark. Anyone have a fix other than altering TV settings?

btw
Just noticed Earth 2 is on US Netflix. I remember liking this series so worth a watch and see you can handle it. 21 Episodes.

We get it you don't like Netflix as every post you have made here supports. Why not just save yourself the 1.50 a week and cancel!?

Make sure the PS3 RGB range setting is on limited rather than full, should help alleviate black crush if that's the problem. If it already is then no idea, sorry!

I'd probably say every other post. Do you think it offers a decent selection?

The US store already offers more than I have time to watch. When I run out of things to watch I'll cancel, it's no big deal.

Totally agree, the US catalogue is currently at 13848 titles, plenty to look through at the moment, especially TV shows.

Well worth the money!

+ 1 for the US store. My main concern with movies and TV series is that they'll eventually expire before I get round to all the stuff I want to see, rather than actually running out of stuff to watch.

There's an incredible selection!

Well the thought of having this readily available was fantastic, but unfortunately the reality was slighly different. Thought Netflix was awful. Like going back to watching pirated copies of movies in the 1990s. Quality was really bad and I would recommend that unless you have a kick ass Broadband connection dont bother. Tried watching one film on saturday and it paused to buffer every 10 minutes. Sad and disappointed. Hope it gets much better in the future.

Seems harsh to blame your own Internet connection for the quality. My ps3 states a 9mb connection here, through unblock, and I get solid hd either at the highest or the next one down. It never falters. My connection is hardly the fastest around. In fact, I think it depends on the movie type as to if I can get the highest quality or not because something like The Office is always at the highest setting

Sky BB 6.5mb and HD is great through Netflix via PS3, even Standard definition is okay, depends on the age of the film, as some of "movie moments" foreign films have the hard coded subs cut off at the bottom of the screen!

I just really enjoyed 'The Beaver' on Netflix, which I believe is new - Or has been well hidden until now.

It seems completely random whether I get HD or not. My phat PS3's wireless is fairly flakey and never gets much of a connection, but even on my 360 Slim I can't get HD most of the time. 8mb broadband.

Netflix quality has been fine for us on both iPad and PS3 even on our meagre 3.5mb connection... and that's 3.5 on the main wired connection to my Mac, so will be less via wireless and the home plug serving the PS3. Unless you have a "really" slow connection, Netflix quality if fine.

If you think Netflix is bad, don't go near Lovefilm. It's terrible.

I've a fairly sold connection but I do get the occasional red loading bar. Apart from that, its fine, and the sound is very good too.

I get 750-800kb/sec real world, which is more than enough for HD streaming and Zune HD streaming works fine on my 360, but Netflix doesn't. Funny that, makes me think it MIGHT be Netflix's servers and not my connection, wireless or not...

Well, US servers (I only use NFUS, not tried UK), peak times and all that, it probably is their servers. But as I say I'm wired to a 360 slim on an 8gb connection and have virtually no troubles.

I don't have any other devices to try, but the 360 does its job.
