Batman: Arkham Asylum devs working on a TMNT game?

Crank up the rumour-mill! There are rumours floating around that Rocksteady (them of the latest two Batman releases, as if you didn't know) could be working on a TMNT title.

It stems from this article - http://paulgalenetwork.com/home/2012...hattan-crisis/

Now, it's currently just a **rumour**, and in all likelihood not true, but I can't help getting excited by it.

The last TMNT game I played and loved was Turtles In Time back on the SNES, and the thought of having a new TMNT game combined with Arkham Aslyum/City fighting mechanics is awesome. I couldn't think of a better studio and game engine to tackle it. What do you reckon?

Imagine if they worked in 2-4 player co-op...

It could be interesting, although I'd unlikely be saying that if another dev were involved.

Loved TMNT as a kid (or TMHT as it was over here). Be cool to see it brought back to life as something credible.

I'd be totally up for that. Arkham City isn't too far off in terms of what kind of environments would be appropriate, so they could certainly put together a solid interpretation of the original comics, keeping it dark and violent, but with a bit of good humor. TMNT would make for a great sandbox game. Online co-op even better.

I would hope though that if they do make this, they don't place so much emphasis on collecting stuff for achievements sake.

As long as they follow the comic books more so than the 90's cartoon....or though some aspects of the 90's cartoon would be welcome (Bebop and Rocksteady)
