I went for Endomondo PRO this morning. I'm not entirely sure how much it gives me above the free version beyond having a low-power mode, but for 10p it's worth the upgrade.
Number 9 today is NFL Rivals. Not likely to be popular in this country I guess! And also, their first poorly rated app in this offer.
Some upcoming games from Polarbit (courtesy of a post on Modaco phone forum)
Reckless Racing: 7th December
Reckless Getaway: 8th December
Toki Tori: 8th December
Raging Thunder: 11th December
Wave Blazer: 13th December
Raging Thunder 2: 14th December
I can't even get Reckless Racing to download its data to the SD card. It just sits on 0%*
Good news on ADW.Ex. I already have it but its a good launcher for setting up groups of programs in (games, apps etc), smooth scrolling, and it just had a big update.
*[edit]
It starts eventually. Must be a long queue with people buying it cheap!
Bought all so far with the exception of NFL Rivals (requires ICS) and Asphalt 6 - the latter I can't find in the marketplace on my phone and the website says it's not compatible with my phone (SGS2), does that also require ICS?
Asphalt 6 was there yesterday on my N1 and then disappeared not long after when I went to buy it. Think they must have changed the requirements for it.
Having spent a massive 10p on it ... turns out Great Little War Game doesn't work on the HTC Desire
That's odd, it should do. Works on my Blade which has the same GPU, same screen res, same RAM and an older generation CPU than yours.
Our phones are similar enough at gaming that I fake having a Desire to buy Gameloft games.

I think the market is having a bit of trouble compatibility wise! The demo of Reckless Racing currently shows incompatible for me whereas the full version is compatible. And I know the demo is compatible because I installed it about 2 hours ago.

Can you recall how long it took to get started? Mines been sitting at 0% for hours.

NFL Rivals works fine on my SGS2, at least from the quick play i had of it.

Hmmm - seems to be workiing now. All I did was uninstall and then redownload it over wifi (rather than mobile internet)
It was several minutes rather than hours but I did buy it before this offer officially started so I can imagine it's currently hopeless!
I gave it a rest for a couple of hours & tried again. Downloaded straight away this time
