I imagine Netflix are going to face a bit of a battle, what with LOVEFiLM effectively having a long-established monopoly at the moment and, I believe I read, a dominance in most/a lot of Europe too. On the one hand Netflix have their similar dominance in the US to support an effort over here, on the other hand LOVEFiLM have the whole of Amazon.
Hopefully the only way for either to win out will be by offering the genuinely superior service -- which will make a refreshing change! |

OK. Sorry that I am a pedant, but "US film-streaming service Netflix IS gearing up to launch in the UK and Ireland in early 2012. Single nouns take single verbs.
