So The Shining basically? No I wouldn't be surprised either. The daughter has aged though so presumably she's not a ghost.

Loved this, utterly bananas and surreal.
I hear it's going to be an entirely different story and hence cast for each season (or at least that's the plan)

Yep, this is really good.
Is the theme tune 'Guns of Brixton' slowed down?
Reminds me of American Gothic from years ago.

Yeah, great second episode, so much happening but all came together nicely. Love the camerawork, direction, music & acting.
It still falls way short of the likes of the classic Twin Peaks, but miles ahead of the stale new US network shows we've had to put up with so far this season.

Either they are paying homage or copying, but the elevator scene was almost exactly like one of the deaths in six feet under... and resident evil!
Another good episode though. Definitely the best new show of 2011.

Whoever does the casting has an eye for good looking actresses. Last week we had Alexander Breckenridge, this week Kate Mara

Always Nice to have a new horror show as they are thin on the ground.
This was surprisingly dark/creepy/weird/good though.

Is this on FX yet? I've had a quick look but couldn't find any mention of it.
