Been loving the AS album for a while now (did create a thread with very little interest!). Surprised they're saying it could be No1 this week though - didnt realise they'd been played THAT much on the radio etc ??
Listening to some tracks from my 80s rock albums:-
Journey - Raised on Radio
Sammy Hagar - 1987 Eponymous Album
Survivor - Eye of the Tiger/When Seconds Count/Too Hot To Sleep
Boston - Third Stage
David Lee Roth - Skyscraper
Bryan Adams - Cuts Like A Knife
Not the usual type that I listen to these days, but nostalgic stuff that takes me back to when I first got into rock music.

Bloody hell mate you have gone 'Back to the Future'. Love digging out old albums and giving thme a good dust off so to speak For the last few weeks I've been blasting Monster Magnet and Death Magnettica by Metallica (Now my fave album by them, great for running too)
Also the_daddy has a lot to answer for I've downloaded 3 albums by Ryan Kickland and they are on heavy rotation. Also Joe Pug is getting a fair bit of airplay on CitysmithFM, new album out soon

Navarro's playing is awesome, a man at the top of his game. The crunching riff towards the end of Three Days is as heavy as anything Hetfield has put out there.

Yeah I always think of the 10 or 12 quid I spent on a CD a quarter of a century ago and what tremendous value it's been over the years. It's also a great time machine - although they were all released in 1986, January '87 is all about Journey, Boston and Bruce's Live '75='85 box set!

I bought this from Market Street HMV (Which is now the City shop ) and it was one of my first ever cd purchases and listened to it non stop for months. It remains my favourite live album of all time. A true desert Island disc if there ever was one

Husky - the first Australian band signed to Sub-Pop. "Forever So" was released in Australia last year but is out in the UK in May/U.S. in July. Will probably wait for the CD, but for now the songs here sound great.

Got 'All The Young' and 'Sound of Guns' albums coming tomorrow after giving them a listen last night. Also pre-ordered Zulu Winter's which comes out next week.
