So it's set for a July 2011 release after initially being given a 2012 release date. After the first 2 films lord knows which way Bays gonna go with this one.
Personally I hope they don't have any of that silly dreamworld or in your mind stuff, along with no stupid human transformers.
After watching both a few times I have decided the first is the better one for me. Maybe the same as that but with more robots would be better, and no stupid massive robots like Unicron.
I think what happened was after the first people said they wanted more robots, so in the 2nd Bay went too far. Somewhere inbetween would be perfect, with more Prime as a bad ass.
More Prime as a bad ass? He's a regular angel of death in TF2. "Give me your FACE!"
TF2 is utter balls, which came as a surprise after the semi-coherent first film. I'm willing to give Bay and co. the benefit of the doubt due to the writer's strike, but if TF3 is as wilfully incompetent as its predecessor my nerd rage will be heard across the internets.
How anyone could **** up transforming robots fighting is beyond me, but Bay managed it. I too liked the first one, but I felt very meh! with the second film.
Didn't really enjoy the first and the second was one of the worst films I've seen at the cinema. My hopes for the third will be lower than a snakes belly.

I didn't like you very much when I met you and now I like you even less.
I'll only see it if they get rid of Bay (though small chance of that since TF1 & 2 raked in the cash).
Vanity Fair magazine estimates Bay's personal take-home from Transformers 2 to be $75m from the back end of cinema release, $28m from dvd revenue (10% of total) and $12.5m from toy and licensing royalties. Add another $9.5m from his other executive producer work and old royalties and he was the highest paid Hollywood player last year.
Given that he's bound to have a first refusal deal on the next film, I can't see him walking away from a similar payday.
I my humble opinon this would be the only way the film could go, it would be ******* awesome
Agreed, ghost of Orson Welles doing the V/O.
Dinobots...
Now that the universe is quite well established they could quite easily go ahead with a live action remake of the 1980's animated movie. I mean, it might be like raping my childhood... But my GOD what a way to be raped.
I really enjoyed the first, but like others was disappointed with the awful second film. The plot was ridiculous, the transforming human was plain stupid, poor out of place humour, the new characters were questionable and all over the place; and I disliked how Megatron ended up being a nobody to such a weak boss (the Fallen).
A small summary of my dislikes, but I just hope he takes a step back and does something fresh and coherent like the first.
