Sorry, it's just that usually when things are in the bargain forum and get moved they have:

1) A post added saying 'moving'
2) An entry remaining in the bargain forum index with a 'MOVED' indicator.

This thread has neither of these.

In any case, it's completely irrelevant because Grade-A items do appear in the bargain forum and you actually stated the reason you said what you did.

As to your other points, whilst it appears that you also have nothing better to do, I stated my view of the relevance not Alan's. How could I state Alan's view?

Further I cannot do anything erroneous with the phrase "I have no idea what your accusing Alan b of here." Because I had no idea what you were. That you were not is irrelevant to the fact that I had no idea. That you were not does not make my statement erroneous.

No on here you haven't as we never change threads titles just because the item isn't available anymore as there is no point in doing it, that is why this thread title hasn't been altered.

Would not the point be to save people from thinking there was a bargain available and wasting their time (and your server resources) looking at a thread only to find they had been mislead by the title?

It would seem a courtesy that some forum members think worthwhile as there is evidence of title changes in the index on several occasions.

Or are we just supposed to assume that anything that looks like a bargain in this forum is a defunct thread from elsewhere?

Alan will no doubt confirm but my belief is that expired bargains get moved from bargain to suppliers.
