Community - New NBC comedy

I've seen a couple of commercials for Community starting on NBC soon.

Its about a teacher at a community college, and looks pretty funny. Hadn't heard or read anything about it previously.

Might be one to watch out for.

There is a nice four and half minutes NBC promo on youtube

Warning: quite likely to contain all the good jokes from the pilot.

Does look good though. Where has Chevy been for so long?

Well that made me chuckle. One to look out for, methinks.

Hmmmm, it was ok. A couple of good lines here 'n there & the "you look like Elizabeth Shue" eye-candy was fine but sadly falls well short of the other two thursday-night comedies (and 30 Rock once it returns too)....

I liked it, some funny stuff in there, though the premise seems a bit weak. I shall continue to watch it till I get bored of it.

As far as comedy pilots go it was funner than 'The Office', 'Arrested Development' and '30 Rock' so it bodes well. The only problem was that it tried to just cram way too much into the plot. Though I suppose you could never accuse it of being slow.

It's quality. You can well imagine it hangin about with R2-D2. And when the fan is switched on it looks like it's scanning for life-forms like R2-D2 does on the ice world of Hoth when Luke Skywalker goes missing. Quality in moton. The other day it disappeared. I said, "where's the bag-l gone? have the jawas come to pick it up in the sandcrawler?" to which one of the girls in the office replied, "No, Les the porter!" —Captainchode

Was struggling to keep with it, but it did pick up.

Has potential, and I just want Chevy Chase on TV more...

All the scenes with John Oliver were great, the rest was pretty good.

Had noticed this, will give it a shot as it seems to have a tentative dvdf seal of approval.

Watched it last night and really enjoyed it. Pleasantly surprised considering I was expecting it to just be 'ok'

Long shot I know, but does anyone know who was doing the Don't You Forget About Me cover at the end of the episode?

Not bad at all - has potential to be very good, and even as it stands it's a decent filler for when you've watched all the better stuff.
