How can I watch my Sky in another room?

What's the cheapest and easiest way to watch Sky in another room, a friend had a set up where they could point the Sky remote at a box in the bedroom and it was operate the box down stairs but I can't seem to work out how they did it? Can this be done wirelessly or will I need to run cables between the two rooms?

Try this link (don't thank me, thank splobber who highlighted this useful tool in another post)

Personally, I use a Magic Eye. Much cheaper on eBay than from Maplin.

Is there anyway to do it without having to run a coaxial?

I just got one of these to do that very job:
Video Sender - Argos

Works a treat as long as I switch off my wireless internet router. It works through a wall to my bedroom and is about 10 feet away. Not sure how good it would be from downstairs to upstairs.

The receiver box will also allow you to use the Sky remote on the second TV.

I got an Argos Jobby too. Shame I have to switch off my wifi when I want to use it though.

Anyone know if you can get one to work without wifi interference?

I find it watchable with wireless on but just a slight crackle. Near perfect AV with it off.

If you had Sky Broadband Max, then you could use Sky Player for some of the channels?

The bed room is directly above the living room so that could work
