I wondered what had happened to him. He's been showing as online in my friends list but hasn't responded to any of my friends invites for the last couple of nights.

Hope fully he's got his headset working aswell, he's got a thrid party one for the PS3 but said for some reason he can't get it pair up, I'll be on just at 9:30.

My headset is a bog-standard Samsung one that I use in the car usually. It seems to work fine with the PS3, I just have to remember to turn off bluetooth on the phone first!

Wow I found that hard going last night even if it was only for two games! Those bloody dogs annoy the hell out of me, don't they have anything better to do than look for soldiers with guns?!!! Oh and don't get me started on snipers!

Might have to think about getting a headset even if it is just to say goodnight!!! lmao

I love the dogs... they're so much better that the choppers in COD4, firstly you can follow them to the enemy and get a few cheap kills while they're focused on shooting the dogs and secondly they always seem to get me at least 5 kills. The only problem I have is calling them in... I always seem to die on 6 kills

Definitely get a headset warney... it makes it much more fun

Did you hear me on Castle telling you all the enemy were coming up the steps to your left? I was firing over your shoulder from behind the statue thing and picking them off one by one until a bloody grenade came over and I didn't see it in time...

They were fun games last night, starting to like the tanks now its so easy to get a kill streak in them to get the artilery and dogs.
I find with the dogs its easyer to knife them than to shoot them, the headsets definatly worth getting even my mate said he'll be pleased when he gets one to save typing messages.

"Sniper in the tower" *kill sniper* about 30 seconds later "sniper in the tower" *eat tank shell*.

DSG no, didn't hear you sorry dude!! I did hear someone saying goodnight to me but was waiting for the hot chocolate drink to turn up!!!

Any suggestions on a headset? Would want to use for other games too (don't want to spend too much as I am not a gamer!!!).

If I show up as online later I won't be able to play. We have visitors but I've managed to persuade one of them to play a campaign with me

If they leave early enough I'll be online later on but it defintitely won't be until after midnight.

That was me saying goodnight to you and Marv and his mate. As far as I know any bluetooth headset should work with the PS3 although after listening to Marv unleashing the Stig as if he was in the same room as me I think I might invest in the official headset at some time

get the official one guys for £17.99 you got grumble and the hq mode is a really good feature and you get a status bar as well like you do for the contoller so it tells you how much batterys left and if your in mute etc.

I managed a 20 kill streak yesterday and did'nt die once either on the roundhouse level cant see me bettering that for while.

Did you send me a party invite last night at around 10pm Marv? I don't know what happened but when I signed on it said you were offline so I went away for 10 minutes and when I came back I had the party invite but you were still showing as offline???

My best killstreak is 13 currently so I can't see me getting anywhere near 20.

I don't understand the kill streaks. My highest is 17, last night my highest was 11, yet on the leaderboards it shows it as 9.

Mine got reset after one of the early patches a couple of weeks ago. Did you get one of those "server connection errors" at the end of the game maybe? I think that's the point where it updates your online stats.

Nope I played quite a few games after that. On the stats screen after each match it tells me my highest is 17 so it's not like it doesn't know.

yeah i did mate,mate think i sent you two. I did'nt stay on for long as i did'nt feel much like cod last night i just figuered you were either in a game or away from the console.

I'll be on again tonight.
