Love the guitar work on Crimson and Clover. Haven't heard the original, does that have the Wild Thing bit in it too? Hmm, not sure about There'll Never B Another Like Me, but I quite like Here Eye Come, nice voice and good background guitars.
Is there a legitimate place to hear the other songs aired on American radio?

Reason: To ask about hearing the other aired songs
This is a dipping your toe in the water option. Some great 12'' versions included here. But many classic hits missing - especially early (and some would say best) ones missing.
This is currently the most definitive collection although doesn't cover the most of the last 10 years - although neither does the first option.
I may actually have a spare copy of this floating around if you want one cheap.
Thanks GlennSh. I tried that site yesterday and went through the 2 from the day they were played but can't find them. Guess I'll have to wait until the release.
Havent tried the link again, but all 4 tracks were early on in the show when I played it a few weeks back. The MP3s are floating around the web although cant discuss where for obvious reasons...
Cheers
OK, I've now found them the "other" way. I prefer these new songs to Planet Earth so far (not that hard really IMHO) and really enjoying the guitar work. Looking forward to the album release now. When I listen to his recent output I always compare to the great music of the 80s and it doesn't at all. My favourite music is always FAR better. I listened to Lovesexy yesterday (a good album, but not the best) for the first time in ages and it was like a new discovery hearing some of the songs.
However, this has a maturity to it that I appreciate (and no real JW preaching either) and it's great to hear him focusing on the guitar. I loved his guitar playing at the O2 in 2007 so it's about time he played properly on studio tracks again. I accept he won't reach the heights again, no musician can sustain their greatness as far as I can tell. I hope the rest of the album will be as good. Is that Cora drumming on these tracks I wonder? Sounds pretty good to me considering how disliked she is compared to John Blackwell and Michael Bland.
Sounds like the 3 new albums are going to be released at the same time "just after the holidays"....no idea who the online supplier will be, I just have to get these on cd...cannot be doing eith this mp3 rubbish!
For anyone who missed the earlier deal on Amazon for the Indigo 21 nights book/CD (think I paid about £13-14)...I saw it today in Waterstones for... £7.50
