Viewer For Panasonic Security Video System

My partner had her purse and phone nicked from work today, luckily the culprit was caught on camera...unluckily it was a Panasonic network security system that records to it's internal HDD in h3r format which I can see is proprietory but there is apparently a player which I just cannot find. Does anybody know where I could source the player?

Looks like your out of luck im afraid;

http://filext.com/file-extension/H3R

unless you know someone with the viewer/panny camera?

Can you not play on a TV and record it on your own camera?

The footage was taken directly from the machine, from what I can gather it looks like the player is integrated into the software but what I need to be able to do is give the police a copy of the footage - it's not very user-friendly if you can't save the files as a more standard format or at least include a player.

Will go back in tomorrow and have a tinker with it.

The semi-pro (or mid-range) Panasonic Network cameras record to SD memory card and uses a SD Viewer software: http://panasonic.co.jp/pcc/cgi-bin/p...06061619051508

Another software allows recording images to a computer: http://panasonic.co.jp/pcc/cgi-bin/p...06061619051508

Anyway, why don't you ask the person in charge of security at her workplace? These cameras are typically accessed by a web browser interface with a specific IP address and port number, a username and password is usually required. The camera browser interface will allow changes to the settings and access recorded footage.

Sorry, the second link for the Network Camera Recorder software should be: http://panasonic.co.jp/pcc/cgi-bin/p...a.cgi?g=NCR&m=

(DJBenson, I just read your 23:17 reply) When you look at the camera interface,
see if there's a "Buffered image" tab next to the "Top", "Multi", "Maintenace" etc. The "Buffered image" section will allow you to download a series of still images to the local PC, but it will take ages...I guess the images are also saved on the network somewhere and it might be easier to download it from there.

Managed to sort it. There's a "Viewer" button on the interface which downloads the viewer.exe application. I've burnt it to a CD with the relevant footage.

Thanks for the replies.
