Anyway, I'm taking three 14 year old girls (my daughter and friends) and my 12 year old son to Projekt Revolution at MK Bowl next week. Apparently that's Linkin Park, Pendulum, N.E.R.D., Enter Shikari, The Bravery & Inner Party System.
Don't really know any of the music, but we're in the VIP area (free tickets from one of the girls uncles). If the weather is ok, should be a fun day out.

Turns out we've got backstage passes
I won't recognise anyone!
Oh, of course Jay-Z is part of the line up But would be awesome if Mrs Jay-Z were there
FFS Radiohead!!! They came on to do 3 songs for an encore and I have never left a concert so ******* flat!! They needed to rock out a LOT more by having more bends and ok computer songs!!! The Set list was ALL over the place with absolutely no momentum being gathered at all!! On the plus side, the sound for an outdoor concert this size was the best and most clearest I have ever heard and they did perform all the songs quite well.
Saw them last year in the same place and it was a great night. They are supporting Muse in dublin on wednesday so this is a warm up. Booked wednesday off so i can get nicely twisted.
We've got - No actually I'VE got Paul Weller, then we've got Steve Coogan and The Scorpians (not together - though that would be interesting) (Its for his Birthday, and he had to 'put up with' Tom Waits for mine, not that theres anything wrong with the Scorps, I'm looking forward to constantly mentioning German Midget genes...).
Mikegray!!! You are a MILLIONAIRE mate!! What was kd like - I do be loving her.

She was actually very good this time, in stark contrast to last tour where she played a perfunctory 45 minute set. Seemed to really enjoy being there and kept us entertained for about 90 minutes. Nice mix of old and new, generally very enjoyable.
Not booked many more since my last update - Aimee Mann in Manchester and Sheffield, Brett Anderson at the RNCM and Paul Heaton at the Ritz. Would be going to Counting Crows / Ben Folds to see Ben perform, but not at those prices.
Actually forgoing Porcupine Tree and Marillion this time round for a change, would like to see 3 Doors Down but doubt I would be able to get down there, but as it stands I have...
