Bought tickets for Nightwish next March. If i can afford it i *may* go see Korn. But i dunno. I dont know if its just me, but there seems to be bugger all worth going to see, around these parts anyway.

Just added Iron Maiden to the list.

Marillion - The Forum - 5 December
Smashing Pumpkins - O2 Arena - 16 February
The Cult - The Forum - 22 February
The Cure - Wembley Arena - 20 March
Iron Maiden - Twickenham - 5 July

My credit card isn't happy - not much change from £200 for that lot. I think I'd better give it a rest for a bit now!

New to the music forum, but I like it!

My gigs (so far):

15 Dec - Little Man Tate
26 Jan - Van Morrison
28 Feb - Editors
7 Mar - Off The Wall (Pink Floyd Tribute)
25 Apr - Daniel O'Donnell (ahem...)
1 May - Bjork
25 May - One Night of Queen (Tribute)
7 June - One Night of Elvis (Tribute)

That's the lot for now.

A quick update for mine as all my others have been and gone.

Smashing Pumpkins - 14th Feb - Nottingham Ice Arena
The Hoosiers - 26th Feb - Nottingham Rock City
Kate Nash - 2nd March - Nottingham Rock City
Velvet Revolver - 22nd March - Wolverhampton Civic Hall
Flogging Molly - 3rd June - Manchester University

I'm undecided whether to go and see Flogging Molly in Birmingham as well on the 4th June.

Hmm I wouldn't mind seeing Smashing Pumpkins at the O2 Arena so I might have a peek at ebay nearer the date. They don't look hugely expensive at the moment.

It took me a looooong time to train myself to put them in my phones calendar so I didn't have to keep checking the letter rack when I thought a gig was close

I've got nothing coming up [gloom] but hoping that Roger Waters WILL announce a UK date around May. Yes, it's gonna be the Dark Side Of The Moon show as per this year, but a great, unmissable show IMHO...

I would definitely miss gigs if they weren't in my phone's calendar. I've got 19 booked for 2008 already.

7th Feb - Newcastle Uni - Amy McDonald
30th March - Newcastle Carling Academy - Night Wish

About as far from each other as you can get in terms of taste but both had the best albums of last year, so bring em on.

Some of you lot see soooo many artists! wish I could find that many near me I like.

Did you see them when they played The Cockpit in Leeds earlier this year? If these gigs are as good as that one, they should be amazing

Yep I've had a few reminders @ 7:30pm telling me I'm meant to be out
Also stopped me buying tickets for two different shows on the same night
