Remake Corner NO: 6757543.A - The Wild Geese!
Acording to Chud.com a remake of 70's naff action classic the Wild Geese is on the cards.
Don't mind the idea too much as the original is hardly a masterpiece but who the heck do you cast in the Richard Burton, Richard Harris and Roger Moore roles?

The Wild Geese was never naff. It's the coolest thing ever!
Another vote for Statham in the remake.

Paul Walker can't act so he'll not be in it.
I'm more interested to know who'll be cast in
Wild Geese 2

Don't care if they remake that film, but could they really replace Klaus Kinski in the Swiss rip-off:

Seems like this is going to happen. I have loved some recent remakes, like Dawn of the Dead. But The Wild Geese was good enough first time round. Leave it alone, you will cock it up Richie!

That new Sly Stallone film is a remake of the wild geese in all but name anyway.

Nooooooo, Stratham could never be Faulkner, hes got no class, he could only be an NCO, never an officer.
Daniel Craig would make a good Col. Faulkner imho.
Also Graham Norton could play Whitty
I'll get my coat.

Russell Crowe (Burton), Gary Oldman (Harris), Jude Law (Moore). Joe Morton would be good as the good African President.
