Renny Harlin's Prison?
Does anyone remember this from their VHS days? Released by EiV, if memory serves me right it was quite an effective little shocker. Why no DVD release?

Yeah, a good horror film and available on German DVD via Raptor or Dragon or something. Crappy quality just like the rest of their releases, though.

Is this the one where:
Spoiler: a prisoner is impaled on some mysteriously moving pipes whilst trying to escape through a crawlspace, and another is wrapped in barbed wire in a shed?
If so, I remember it from the old VHS rental days and being quite brutal. Isn't this the movie that got Renny Harlin the Elm Street 4 directing gig?

Well apparantly it had more to do with Harlin being young and strapping and looking like he may be able to survive a very intense shooting schedule

At first I read the title as "Renny Harlin's in prison".
Is it wrong that I thought "about bloody time"?

Great little movie. Harlin came onto it straight from "Arctic Heat", which is about as good as a film starring Chuck Norris's brother can be, and it's still his best film in my opinion. His instalment of the Freddy saga is OK too though and I like "The Long Kiss Goodnight" a lot.
